Our Work: Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR)

Train the Trainer Intervention

The national Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) had a need to create capacity for its team to pass on knowledge to new employees and other relevant stakeholders. A Train-the-Trainer solution was identified as the best way to deliver on this requirement.

Optimum Diversities was engaged by Agizo Solutions to deliver a Train-the-Trainer solution for this need by the (DRDLR).

Optimum was quick to respond to the request and provided a detailed proposal. The training solution delivered a quality and hassle-free training product to the targeted learners and the DRDLR as an organisation. Optimum provided access to skills, staff and management processes to support the DRDLR requirement. The Department was able to secure excellent benefits from its investment in the Train-the-Trainer programme.

Some of the outcomes derived from the training intervention were:

  1. Learners were equipped to plan and prepare for facilitation
  2. Learners were trained to facilitate learning
  3. Learners were trained to evaluate learning and facilitation
